“In this work, which explores the discrepancy between objective and subjective time, it seems appropriate to include even the actions and moments before the beginning of the performance as part of the work. Along with the symbolism of a half-open door—entering or leaving, merely an ambiguous choice for those who aren't quite ready yet—an improvisational yet focused performance showcased the psychological distance between the anticipation of change and the desire to remain inert.”
